The Architect's Vision

Four-suite beach house on Soliman Bay with timber louver walls and a full staff

Casa Xixim is a four-suite beachfront house on Soliman Bay, a protected turtle-nesting bay about 10 km north of Tulum. Many walls are screened timber louvers instead of glass, so sea breeze moves through the white concrete volumes and shaded terraces. The house runs like a small hotel, with a chef cooking three meals a day, the beach raked each morning, and a garden planted with native species.
