Ahangama hotel of black A-frame cabanas, steel and glass suites, and a shipping-container restaurant
PALM sits between the ocean, rice paddies, and jungle just inland from Ahangama on Sri Lanka's south coast. Six black A-frame cabanas stand under the coconut palms, alongside deluxe suites with steel-framed glass facing the paddy and the four-bedroom PALM Haus. The social center is an open-air restaurant, bar, and pool built from double-height repurposed shipping containers and a steel frame with warehouse windows, set around a single palm tree.
