The House of Somos merges with the natural surrounding. Built with ecology in mind it was designed as a coastal lodge utilizing modern and locally-sourced materials to create a space in which concrete and wood intertwine seamlessly, a minimalist structure with the tropical forest as background. Here, are all family; brothers and sisters called by the adventure, sheltered under the same roof, connected to nature.
Private accommodations offer respite and seclusion, while the pod-shared quarters are the best way to interact with fellow travelers. On the common grounds—by the pool, lounge, Airstream restaurant, and on the beach—hang out, eat, drink, connect, rest, and dream.
The rooms and bungalows all are equipped with air conditioning.
Santa Teresa, Costa Rica
Santa Teresa is slightly off the beaten path, lush rolling green hills, flowing rivers, and swell lines across the Pacific. A small town that welcomes its fair share of visitors, but is just hard enough to get to. A destination that visitors struggle saying goodbye to. Once a small fishing village, Santa Teresa is now dotted with restaurants, boutique retail stores, surf shops, and few fine hotels. The town has just enough amenities to entertain those looking for the finer things in life, while maintaining dirt roads and the rural jungle to keep the spirit of adventure and true character alive. Spread out along a few kilometers of dirt road, the town parallels and hugs the Pacific coast, Somos is located at the Northern end of town, the front yard, as we lovingly call it, is a white sand beach, where the sun always shines and the waves are always peeling.

Each Airstream has a unique story to tell from a previous life on the open road.
With that we decided to uniquely redesign the interiors of each unit, but maintain all 3 with the same basic foundations; A king size bed to sleep, a charming kitchen to cook, a desk space to create, a beautiful bathroom to bathe and Air Conditioning to respite from the tropical heat.
King Lofts
There are different options of Lofts available. This provides flexibility for travelers. There are options from a large private suite with the ability to host 5 people to private lodges with an extra friend if you are a traveling tripod. Or if you’d just like a larger Private room this may be the option you’re looking for. This accommodation includes a private Terrace and a private bathroom. Bungalows
Private accommodations offer respite and seclusion, and the private bungalows allow for even further seclusion. Utilizing the minimalist concepts which create a haven at the top of Somos. The third floor has essentially been turned into two penthouses.
