Seaspiracy is a documentary about the impact of fishing on the environment that was released on Netflix in 2021. The film shows the impact of humans on marine life, such as plastic waste in the sea, ghost nets and overfishing around the world. In particular, it draws attention to the destruction of the marine ecosystem that commercial fishing is to blame for. Seaspiracy criticizes several marine conservation organizations that promote sustainable fisheries, including the Earth Island Institute and its Dolphin Safe label and the Marine Stewardship Council’s sustainable seafood certifications. Minimalism is the classic. Minimalism, or the reduction to the few essential things, is not only an aesthetic practice, but also a very concrete approach to life. The director – Matt D’Avella – is a minimalist himself and has a YouTube account and has really got the “minimalism movement” going with the two main characters Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus.
